The present Global guidelines on the economic reintegration of victims of forced labour through lifelong learning and skills development approaches are designed to assist governments, workers’
and employers’ organizations, NGOs and development practitioners in supporting the economic reintegration of victims of forced labour through formal and non-formal skills development services,
skills recognition services and post-training support. Based on extensive research, they draw from a wide range of case studies and good practices identified at local and national levels to offer evidence-based
recommendations on how to design and implement effective skills-based interventions for the long-term rehabilitation and protection of victims of forced labour.
