SUNDAY, Sept 15: NYC art build before Sept 20 youth-led climate strike
This comes as the NYC Department of Education announces it will excuse absences of all students participating in the Climate Strikes.

Brooklyn, NY — This Sunday, organizers of the September 20th NYC Climate Strike will hold one of the last public art-build before next Friday’s march. This comes as the NYC Department of Education announced it will excuse absences of all students participating in the Strikes.
On Sunday, participants will paint massive parachutes, banners, signs, flags, and more. Spokespeople will be available for interview.
